What Women Are Saying

When I came to Singing the Ancestors, I expected Tara singing, but not myself! It was pure magic. I used to sing, then when I finished University and left the chorus, I stopped. During Singing the Ancestors, with Tara as a guide of my voice, I started to cry the very first minute. It was an experience from the Otherworld. I really cannot describe it. I have watched the video 9 times already. I let it play even when I’m working and I sing along with that. There is so much in our voice and I feel the importance of reclaiming our voice! I am really coming home to me with the music you share Tara. You are truly an amazing soul. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Journey into the heart of ancestral connection through Sacred Sound

For many, many generations, women have received messages that it’s not safe to use our voice…that to express ourselves fully and truly can lead to being judged, rejected, outcast.

The memory of the witch hunts and the silencing of women still burns within us.

So many of us have received subconscious messages that we’re supposed to sound a certain way…to be soft and unthreatening.

We’ve been taught that our singing voice should hide behind a mask of polished perfection, which leaves us doubting our ability to sing at all, cutting us off from a vital part of our being.

Through the unleashing of my own voice, I’ve come to realize…

There’s a raw, primal voice inside of every woman that’s longing to get out.

A voice that’s raw, primal and real.
A voice that knows how to sing with the wind, waves, and sea.
A voice that’s deeply rooted in the wisdom of the ancestors and ancient rhythms of the earth.

Your authentic voice is calling.
Can you hear her?
