The Pilgrimage of Samhain
As we enter the dark time of year, the ancestors call us to gather near…to circle around the fire with them and connect with our sacred roots.
In the Irish traditions, Samhain is the time when the ancestors and the spirits of the Otherworld are closest to us. A liminal time of soul-pilgrimage and initiation when the Bean Feasa, the Wise Woman, the Witch can weave her magic with the forces of nature to call forth deep healing and ancient rememberings.
The Wise Women of Old Ireland were such an integral and accepted part of society that the Witch Hunts never truly took hold. The legacy and magic of these women lives on in us, waiting to be reclaimed and remembered.

We connect to the wise ones who came before us, and through our sacred listening, we become receptive to their guidance.
We claim our responsibility to heal ancestral wounds and revive ancestral blessings—tending the ancestral fire with love and devotion.

What you'll receive on this ceremonial journey...
Day 1: An Introduction to Irish Witchcraft
– Saturday November 1st –
11am Pacific, 2pm Eastern, 6pm Ireland
2 hour online gathering
This teaching will include a wisdom share about Biddy Early, Ireland’s most famous witch from the 1800s, and the role of the Bean Feasa (Wise Woman) in Irish culture. We’ll also talk about the tradition of bottles and cures in Irish folk medicine, and a few sacred plants you can work with during the Samhain portal.
Day 2: Samhain Ceremony
– Sunday November 2nd –
11am Pacific, 2pm Eastern, 6pm Ireland
2 hour online gathering
In this ceremony, you’ll learn about some of the folk traditions from Ireland associated with Samhain, including beautiful rituals to honor the Ancestors. You’ll also receive wisdom teachings about the Cailleach, and embark on a guided immram (spiritual journey) to connect with the ancestors.

Hello beloved, my name is Tara Brading and it’s my great honor to be your guide on this journey of sacred remembrance. I’m a women’s educator, storyteller and songstress.
I’ve been on a journey of remembering and reclamation for over fifteen years, honoring the earth based feminine wisdom left in my blood and bones. I believe that this wisdom is awakening inside so many of us in these times of transformation and change, and my greatest passion is connecting women to the wisdom of their ancestors.
I’m the creator of The Roundhouse which lovingly guides women into nature based feminine wisdom from the Irish traditions. I also run courses, ceremonies, and workshops that serve thousands of women every year.
