Hello beloved, my name is Tara Brading and it’s my great honor to be your guide on this journey of sacred remembrance.
I’m a women’s educator, storyteller and songstress. I’ve been on a journey of remembering and reclamation for over fifteen years, honoring the earth based feminine wisdom left in my blood and bones.
I believe that this wisdom is awakening inside so many of us in these times of transformation and change, and my greatest passion is connecting women to the wisdom of their ancestors.
We all have lineage. We all have inheritance. We simply have to remember.

You will be invited to see your patterns as ancestral stories that need to be acknowledged and healed, opening the door to the opportunity to claim all that you are in true sovereignty and liberation.
Ancestral healing invites you to understand how intergenerational trauma is held within the body and passed invisibly through the lineage as limiting beliefs, repeating cycles of trauma, doubt, unworthiness, addiction, and other painful patterns.
Your deepest feminine power is sitting underneath generations of suppressed ancestral emotions, and through this journey, you will be invited into this embodied healing process in a ceremonial way that honors the mystery of these ancestral depths.
The unhealed mother wound can impact your life in many ways. You will be given the opportunity to address your mother-wound from an ancestral lens through education and ceremony, with the invitation to unwind ancestral patterns and pain.

Trauma is passed down the lineage through shame and silence, repeating cycles of disempowerment, and lack of safety. You will be lovingly welcomed into a circle of women who welcome your whole story as sacred.
We were never meant to do this work alone. Our ancestors understood that initiation was to be held in community and in sisterhood. We can go deeper and further together.

Each day, we’ll begin at 8am Pacific, 11am Eastern, 3pm UK. We’ll finish at approximately 2pm Pacific, 5pm Eastern, 9pm UK. There will be a break between sessions.
We encourage you to clear your calendar as much as possible to attend these teaching days, but there will be recordings for those of you who can’t attend.
These teaching days will be extremely deep.
You’ll receive wisdom shares, activations, rememberings, and deep ancestral truths. You’ll be guided into the depths of your lineage through ceremony and ritual, in heartfelt collaboration with your wise grandmothers.
There will be lots of opportunities for sharing, questions, and sisterhood support. Women from previous cohorts have expressed how important and powerful it is to be witnessed in their journeys, and to be held in such a safe, loving container.
Online wisdom portal and community platform (lifetime access)
The Matriarchal Medicine Carriers journey is hosted inside of a private online network where you can engage with all of the content and other women on this journey. This is a safe space to ask questions, share your insights, and receive community support during our time together.
Walking this initiatory path with others is so supportive and empowering, as we each hold important medicine for this deep ancestral work. Other women can illuminate things that you may not realize on your own, and there’s a deep sense of solidarity and reassurance that comes forth from walking this path with like-hearted women.
The wisdom portal will open on April 8th (a few days before our first teaching day) and though it will remain open and available to you ongoingly, community support from Tara and Olivia will end on April 29th (a few days after our final teaching day).
Ancestral medicine PDF workbook
Inside Matriarchal Medicine Carriers, we will guide you through a spiral process called the Ancestral Medicine Map. Although we’ll be focusing on the matriarchal lineage specifically in this journey, the process can be applied to other threads of your lineage. This PDF workbook is a tool for you to repeat the spiral path of initiation, so you can continue your ancestral healing journey.

In this 2-part video series, you’ll be guided to create an ancestral altar in deeply meaningful ways, collecting the pieces to weave it whole. This altar will be an intimate place of devotion, remembering, ceremony and communion on your ancestral path. Whether you’re creating your very first altar, or an altar specific for this journey, the video series is designed to support you in heartfelt ways. Tara will also share some of her favorite altar practices to inspire you.
