IGNITE YOUR FEMININE FIRE
February 1st is a sacred festival dedicated to Brigid… a deity who’s lived in the hearts and minds of women for generations, known by different names.
In Ireland as Brigid or Bríd she’s the poet, the blacksmith, the healer. In Scotland as Bride she’s the goddess of summer, midwifery and birth. In Northern England as Brigantia she’s adorned with a crown of fire and light.
She’s a pan-Celtic Goddess and Christian saint; a ruler of hearth and home; connected to the holy wells and eternal flame. But most of all, she’s a goddess of the heart and sparks the feminine fire within, kindling our love for the earth, for life, and all that is sacred.
It’s time to ignite your feminine fire & remember the ancient love that you carry.

A GODDESS FOR THESE TIMES
In today’s world where there’s so much heartache and change, it’s become normalized to turn away from the suffering of the collective and numb ourselves to the immensity of what’s happening…to all that’s burning down around us, physically and metaphorically.
But to numb and avoid the truth of these times takes a toll on the heart and severs us from our deeply-feeling feminine nature. Our heart-fire is needed to stay centered in truth, love, and prayer; empowering us to be the change the world needs us to be, so we can birth a new paradigm.
Brigid, Bride, Brigantia is a goddess for these times. As a protector of children and animals, a rebel, mother, healer, poet, midwife, and more, she can inspire us to reclaim our feminine power, heal deeply, and fight for what we love.

About this Gathering
On February 1st, we’ll gather virtually around an ancestral fire. I’ll offer a brief introduction to Brigid, Bride, Brigantia and speak about sacred fire traditions from Britain & Ireland. We’ll also go on a journey to ignite the feminine fire of the heart, calling forth our dreams and prayers for ourselves and the collective.
At the end of our time together, I’ll introduce you to my 20-day devotional called Daughters of the Flame; a heartfelt journey with Brigid, Bride, Brigantia to become an ancestral fire keeper.
If you hear the call to ignite the sacred fire of the heart… If you long to connect with ancestral traditions that can strengthen you to meet these times… If you feel drawn to Brigid, Bride, Brigantia and the medicine she offers…

Meet Tara
Hello beloved, my name is Tara Brading and it’s my great honor to be your guide. I’m a women’s educator, storyteller and songstress. I’ve been on a journey of remembering and reclamation for over ten years, honoring the earth based feminine wisdom left in my blood and bones.
I believe that this wisdom is awakening inside so many of us in these times of transformation and change, and my greatest passion is connecting women to the wisdom of their ancestors.
I offer ancestral wisdom and heritage teachings from England and Ireland. I run courses, events, retreats and workshops that serve thousands of women every year, and I also have a podcast called Dreaming the Ancestors. I live on the ancestral lands of the Ute and Arapaho peoples in the mountains of so-called Colorado, and visit the Celtic Isles regularly for pilgrimmage.
